The core values derive from, and are within the context of
the vision of the blog which is a sustainable clean and balanced natural
environment. The values are cleanliness, balance and sustenance. The thoughts,
actions and passion of the blog revolve around these core values. The core
values are the principles that underpin the execution of mission to feed into
vision. So while the principles driving mission are derived from vision, the
fruit of mission is the actualization of vision through digital advocacy. The
values then become a conduit and interconnect between mission and vision.
The contents of the values are classical sayings intended to
lend an informed and synergic global weight and outlook to the values, within
the context of shared responsibility.
CLEANLINESS
“We ought to live
heaven on earth, clean environment, the beauty of blissful realms.”
When you defile the pleasant
streams
And the wild bird's abiding place,
You massacre a million dreams
And cast your spittle in God's face.
John Drinkwater
BALANCE
Humankind
has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it.
Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together.
All things connect.
Chief Seattle, 1855
SUSTENANCE
There is
nothing in which the birds differ more from man than the way in which they can
build and yet leave a landscape as it was before.
Robert Lynd, The Blue Lion and Other Essays
